Joe was the principal at Duke of Marlborough School when I first began teaching. He was a very wise and caring man and great fun to be around once you saw past his gruff exterior. Condolences to his family! - Posted by: Margaret Ingebrigtson () on: Jul 18, 2016

My sincere condolences to Gabriel and the family. Joe was my principal in Churchill. I remember him as a wonderful mentor, Principal and good friend. Joe gave me away at our wedding in Churchill for which I was very grateful. He jokingly warned me all the way up the aisle that I was making a big mistake! (I am still married to my mistake!) we all had many good social times in the pub when he made me be his Shuffleboard partner! I remember him fondly and am sorry to hear of his passing.
