Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD EDWARD ROTHWELL June 12, 1938 - July 13, 2016 Ed passed away at Stonewall Hospital after a long, courageous battle against cancer. He lived in Woodlands his entire life. He worked in reprographics first at Marshall Wells, and finally at Manitoba Telephone System where he retired after 25 years of service. He married the love of his life Judy (D. J. Byron) in 1959, and was married 58 years. Ed loved his horses, coaching his children in sports, fishing, golfing, camping, bird watching and lunches at Sig's with brother Glenn (Mary Ann), Walter, Marvel; and family members. Ed is survived by his loving wife Judy and five children, Kim (Marty) Meyers, Debbie Paul, Tracey (Miles) Sigurdson, Tim Rothwell, and Chad Rothwell. Ed dearly loved and enjoyed his 10 grandchildren, Brent, Dale (Brandy) and Thomas (Dana) Meyers; Mathew (Erika) and Josh Paul, Scott, Brad (Amber) and Thor (Carlene) Sigurdson; Katie and Cameron Rothwell; and five great-grandchildren, Serenity, Tora, Jace, Kinley and Kali. Ed is also survived by his brother Glenn (Mary Ann), sister Irene Grandmont and sister Edith of Port Alberni. A beautiful, private family service officiated by Bob Boyd was held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on July 16, 2016. MacKenzie Funeral Home Stonewall 204-467-2525 info@mackenziefh.com
