ZENON LESLIE ROSOLOWICH On July 23, 2016, Zenon passed away peacefully with his family by his side, at Concordia Hospital, at the age of 75 years. Zenon is survived by his loving wife Julie; daughter Candy (Dale) Wasylowski; son Grant (Angie); four grandchildren, Jessica, Lauren, Emma and William, all of Winnipeg. He also leaves to mourn his brothers, Orest (Vera) and Raymond (Trish); sisters, Christine (Shewfelt) of Calgary and Sandra (Eric). He was predeceased by his parents, Tillie and Tony Rosolowich and brother-in-law Morris. Zenon was born on August 5, 1940 in Meleb, Manitoba. He met the love of his life in 1956 on the swing set at Fraserwood School. They married in 1962 and raised their children in Winnipeg. Zenon retired 17 years ago from the Greater Winnipeg Gas Company after 40 years of service. In his retirement he enjoyed spending the winter in Arizona and Texas with Julie. They also travelled across Canada on their annual camping trips in the summer. He doted on his grandchildren, cheering them on at their sporting events. The family would like to thank Dr. Law for her compassionate care. Also thanks to the nursing staff at Concordia Hospital and Dr. Dawe of CancerCare Manitoba. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Deacon Gordon Mendres officiating. A private family interment will follow at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Zenon's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. 204-586-8044

My deepest sympathy to Julie and family on your loss. I've known Zenon from our time in Cumming School in Meleb. We recently got re-acquainted in Weslaco, Texas and enjoyed the times spent catching up on news and rehashing memories of days gone by. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Walter - Posted by: Walter Sorokowski (Friend from Meleb days) on: Jul 26, 2016
