She is survived by her husband Vic of 49 years; son Mark (Marie); daughter, Carla, granddaughter Ashlan and grandson Cody. As per Joan's wish cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by BIRCHWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL 1-204-346-1030 OR 1-888-454-1030

I am so sorry. You will miss an amazing person and may the many memories keep you going in the saddest hours. I have such great memories of our fun high school years together, some including a wonderful Morris Mini full of friends and laughter. Sincere condolences. Condolences to Vic and family. The world has lost a wonderful energetic person. The last time I met Joan in Steinbach she couldn't stop telling me about her family.
