Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY MAY September 23, 1927 - August 9, 2016 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Stanley May on August 9, 2016, at the age of 88. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Czesia; his daughter Theresa and grandchildren, Trisha and Derek; his niece Alicja and family, Andrzej, Kamil, Konrad and Kristopher; his sister Marianna and family in Poland. He was predeceased by his son Richard. Stanley was born in Poland, immigrated to Canada after the Second World War and married the love of his life Czesia in 1949. Together they had two children, Richard and Theresa. Stanley retired from CP Rail in 1992, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, history and politics but most important to him was his family. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of integrity, that brought joy and fulfillment to many and whose legacy will live on and be cherished in our memories forever. Special thank you to the homecare staff for their care and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. Interment at Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main Street, followed by a reception at Cropo Funeral Chapel 1442 Main Street.
