SHERRY BOUCHARD After a brief illness, Sherry Bouchard passed away on August 12, 2016 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by her parents Gizella and Joseph Kovacs, and Mel's daughter Shawna. She is survived by her husband Melville McMurray, children Claire (Gord), Ray (Kristine), Greg, and Carmelle (Alain), her sister Peggy (Bill), brother David (Priscilla) and their families. Sherry was extremely proud of her grandchildren Robert (Kendra), Crystal (Joseph), Bryan, Brittany, Gabrielle, Celeste, Luke and Molly, as well as her great-grandchildren Philip, Elena, Leland and Gisela. She was also very lucky to call the McMurray "clan" family as well. Mel's sons Laird (Yvonne), and Keith (Louise), grandchildren Megan, Katie, Dana and Riley, great-grandchild Oliver, and several nieces and nephews all loved her and welcomed her into their family. Sherry worked her entire life in Keewatin / Kenora, Dryden and Winnipeg. She retired from the Victoria Hospital after many years, but continued to help out and volunteer whenever she could. She left behind many dear friends that she made at work and Church. The last month of her life was peacefully spent at Jocelyn House Hospice. Many thanks go out to the staff and residents there who made her final weeks enjoyable. Sherry was a woman of strong faith and we know she is at peace now with her maker. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsyth Road. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at a later date.
