Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED ALEXANDER MORRISSETTE August 19, 1942 - August 12, 2016 It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Alex Morrissette at Health Sciences Centre. He will be missed by his wife of 44 years, Jenny Lusanko; stepdaughters Pauline (Mike), and Jean (Denis); stepsons, Rob and Tom; sister Pat; and daughters, Donna and Laurie. Alex was predeceased by his stepson Albert in 2012 and stepgrandchildren Calvin in 2014 and Scott in 2015. Alex grew up in the Interlake Area and moved to Winnipeg, where he met the love of his life, Jenny. They spent countless hours playing crib, bingo, listening to his tapes of country music, and watching his movies on tape. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Brookside Cemetery.CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Tucson and I are cousins and we grew up together in Stonewall. Although I have not seen or communicated with him in many, many years, I have many stories and very fond memories of our childhood.
