JOHN SCHROEDER NEUFELD September 30, 1934 - August 17, 2016 John Schroeder Neufeld, born on September 30, 1934 in New Bothwell, MB, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at the age of 81 years, at his residence in New Bothwell, MB. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martha, his children: Annalie (Trev), Russell (Allison), Lawrence (Sue), Sheila (Abe), and Ang (Jake), 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Anna Neufeld, one sister Bertha, two brothers Pete, Ben, and one great-grandson Aaron. John spent his first years working in Winnipeg in the HVAC industry. Together in 1963 John and Martha bought the family farm in New Bothwell and farmed there for 34 years. John's passion was farming and being an active member of his community and church. The funeral service will be held Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at New Bothwell Christian Fellowship, New Bothwell, MB. The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses and staff on the 4th floor Dialysis unit at St. Boniface General Hospital. We thank you for the incredible care and compassion that you provided John over the years. We know that it was not always easy and we kept you in our prayers regularly.
