Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHERINE KLASSEN Unexpectedly and peacefully, Katherine Klassen aged 92 of Winnipeg, died and went to be with God on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Concordia Hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Tiessen (Peter) of Edmonton and Randal Carpenter (Christopher) of San Diego; one grandson; one granddaughter; four great-granddaughters and many relatives and friends. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Jack in 1988, and son Gerry in 2004. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, with viewing half hour prior to the service. Interment to follow the reception in Elmwood Cemetery. If friends desire, donations may be made to The Huntington Society of Canada, available at the service.

I am so glad we got together a few summers ago and I got to visit with your mom for a bit. How well I remember the evenings when she invited Phyllis and me for dinner.
