JOANN CHRISTINE GREIG (VANCE) Sadly on August 22, 2016, our Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, passed away at the Misericordia Cornish 2. She was born July 11, 1932 at her Grandma's House - 10 Donald Street, Winnipeg. Joann was predeceased by her best friend and husband, Lambert (2002), sister Shirley Gray, and brother Jack Vance. She is lovingly missed by her children: Daryl (Ed), Sheryl (Tom), Barbara (Tom), Janice (Andy) and Kevin; grandchildren: Christine (Warren), Rhonda (Cam), Marcy (Winston), Carrie (Stef), Andrea (Bill), Damon (Josee), Justin (Theresa), Sean (Cyndi), and Ashley; and great-grandchildren: Madison, Taylor, Julia, Jeff, Braydon, Jared, Jordon, Taylor, Cassandra, Logan, Erin, Stephanie, Johnny, Victoria, Fiona, Avery and Jace. She is survived by brother Roy (Doris), sister Marguerite (Ed), and sister-in-law Eleanor Vance. Mom grew up in the Weston area on William Avenue. She worked at Kelekis Restaurant and Winnipeg Free Press. Once married, she became a full time Mommy, looking after her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom and Dad loved their family. In 1982 they purchased a trailer at Wendigo, with lots of family time. They are now reunited, dancing in Heaven, together again. As per Mom's request cremation will take place and no service.
