ERNEST JOHN SECK On August 25, 2016, the night of his 55th wedding anniversary, John passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Red River Home in Selkirk, Manitoba. His wife Irene, his son Michael, daughter Ruth, and son-in-law Greg were grateful to have spent this one, last good day with him, as for several months he had been struggling with the affects of an aging body that had been well-used for 88 years. We will all miss his generosity of spirit, his sense of humour, and the chess and scrabble games, but we will sleep peacefully knowing that he had a life well lived. The immediate family, including his second son Richard and his daughter-in-law Fatima invite friends and family to celebrate his life at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg.
