Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDIANNE TRINKL (nee TARDIFF) Suddenly on August 28, 2016, Dianne passed away at her St. Vital home. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 46 years, Ken. She is predeceased by her daughter Danalynne Marie; her parents, Jeanne (nee Beaudry) and Dollard Tardiff; her sister and best friend Rita Vandal; her brother Larry Tardiff; and sister-in-law Jill; as well as in-laws, Molly Trinkl and John Trinkl; and uncle Jack Lang. Left to mourn Dianne are her "little brothers", Don Tardiff (Yvonne), Ron Tardiff (Ann), and her sister Faye Tardiff. Dianne adored all of her nieces and nephews, but was especially close to several: Kelly Scott (David), Shelley Young (Eric), Elliot Tardiff (Heather), Tracy Tardiff, Randean Tardiff, Nicholas Tardiff, Emma and Elie Breen, and "honorary nieces" the Beaudry girls. An extra special space in Dianne's heart was reserved for her godchildren: Denise Breen (Dave), Cameron Vandal, Raven Peters, and Neil Lang. Dianne also leaves behind many other treasured cousins, friends, and acquaintances, especially her "little friend", Janie Lysack, and in-laws, Jan, Lorraine (Ralph), Shirley, Harold and Ernest. Dianne was born on August 6, 1951 and grew up on Mission Street in St. Boniface. She was the second of six children born to Dollard and Jeanne, although as the eldest daughter she felt it was her responsibility to keep all of her siblings in line. Dianne attended St. Joseph's Academy and graduated from Louis Riel Collegiate. She was a parishioner at the Belgian Sacred Heart Church and was an active leader in the Cub Scouts of Canada, where she was known to generations of young cubs as "Bagheera", the panther. As a young woman Dianne worked in the insurance business, but she switched to real estate becoming a realtor/broker. Dianne and Ken eventually started their own company, Trinkl Realty Ltd., in 1986. They were joined in the company by Dianne's brother Ron and her brother-in-law Gilles Vandal, and they enjoyed many successful years combining family and business. By the time she retired in 2005 the company was flourishing and it exists, as a family business, to this day. Over the years Dianne enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Mexico, Barbados, and Las Vegas. She also loved family vacations to Disney World/Land with her nieces and nephews. Dianne and Ken most recently enjoyed escaping the cold by wintering in Phoenix. Dianne had formidable abilities which she tirelessly dedicated to helping others. Her most outstanding quality was her willingness to give of herself. Dianne lived and breathed for her family; indeed, she was the glue that held the generations together. Dianne was always happiest when surrounded by her family, especially at her cottage on Tannis Lake, at a barbeque, or an infamous Tardiff bonfire. We will always cherish the many happy memories she gifted to us. She loved to laugh, she was whimsical, and she found and loved beauty in everything and everyone. Dianne is irreplaceable. "She loved with a love so fierce that she never dared be trifled with". A private family viewing will be held Wednesday, August 31. All enquires call 204-669-6924. Memorial services will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, #1 Highway East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, on Friday, September 2, at 1:30 p.m., followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fort Whyte Alive or Manitoba Mutts Dog Rescue. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home and Cemetery (204) 222-3241 Condolences may be sent to www.greenacresfuneralhome.com
