ROY MARTIN LUTZ
Born: Oct 14, 1949
Date of Passing: Aug 29, 2016
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROY MARTIN LUTZ Sadly we announce the passing of our brother, Roy Martin Lutz, on August 29, 2016. Roy was born on October 14, 1949 to parents Hendrikje (Hennie) Albers and Willard (Bill) Lutz. He was the second born son in a family of four boys. To say it simply Roy walked to his own beat. He loved the unusual and off beat kind of things. Roy is survived by his brothers Marinus, Bill (Jo-Ann) and David (Rose), several step-nieces and nephews, many cousins in the Netherlands, and many friends throughout Canada and the United States. Special thanks to his best friend and birthday twin Ron Wachniak and wife Debbie who were very supportive of Roy and helped him with so many of his errands. Life was difficult for Roy as he began to loose his physical abilities but he stayed strong in heart and of mind with an awful lot of stubbornness thrown in. The world is a less colourful place without Roy. Happy Trails to you brother! A Meet and Greet gathering is planned at Cropo Funeral Home, Main and Inkster from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016.

I was saddened to read of Roy's death. I met Roy when we were classmates in Junior High School. I enjoyed his wacky sense of humour...he and Ron were like a comedy act...a 60's Abbott & Costello if you will. There was one particular 'skit' that I can remember word for word even to this day. Always highly entertaining but not without a tender side. The world truly is a little less colourful without Roy in it. My most sincere condolences to his brothers and extended family and particularly to Ron...I know you will miss him dearly. - Posted by: Val Bishop (former classmate) on: Sep 03, 2016
