Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORRAINE GILBERT It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lorraine Gilbert (nee Nash) on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Middlechurch Personal Care Home. She was predeceased by her parents, Laura and John Nash; brother Alan; sister-in-law Elaine; and daughter Cindy. She is survived by her husband Jim; daughters, Diane Clarke and Wendy (Brian) Napady; grandchildren, Chris (Evelyn), Steven, Nicole (Kyle) and Michael (Samantha); two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Sophie; nephews, Brian, Kevin and Howard (Pam) Nash; cousins, Doris and Keith; and many other relatives and friends. Lorraine was born in Winnipeg in 1937 and married Jim in 1957. She worked at Great West Life in Winnipeg until 1980, when they moved to LacLu, ON and then for the Federal Government in Kenora, ON. Lorraine and Jim enjoyed their retirement at the lake before moving back to Winnipeg in 2000. In 2013, she moved into Middlechurch Personal Care Home. In keeping with Lorraine's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Middlechurch Personal Care Home for the wonderful care they provided her. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044
