I can’t believe Mr Neufield had past. He was one of my two favourite clients at The Bank he visited in the underground. He really was a delight to chat with and accepted me as a young black kid trying to make it in Winnipeg. I really appreciated his as a human being he will be surely misssed.. can still hear him in his baritone voice.. Good morning Neufield - Posted by: Sherman (Friend) on: Feb 27, 2021

I lived with Jack and Marian for a time, long ago, and then had a business relationship with Jack. I knew him as a kind, gentle and wise man. I was always impressed with his ‘vision’ and ‘foresight’; he had a way of cutting through the fog of the world around us. Those who have lost their loves know that the most bittersweet moments come during the first anniversary of life’s events without them. But, those moments are a continuing chance to appreciate the fact that we knew them at all. - Posted by: Gary and Jane Nickel (Cousin) on: Sep 12, 2016

Son Kingsley has just arrived at the lake with the sad, and shocking news that Jack Neufeld had died on Tuesday. To post here you have to fill in a line "Relationship" and without hesitation I wrote "Client and friend." While our primary client relationship has been with Tom I loved weeks when Tom was off in Hawaii, or somewhere, and if I had a question I was privileged to speak to Jack. I also treasured the times we ran across each other in the below grade shopping mall under the Richardson Building where we'd always stop for a visit --- and I'd be able to mine his wisdom on the market and the world in general. While we were clients I also, without hesitation, typed in 'friends' and we're honoured to be among the many hundreds, likely thousands, of friends Jack had. To know him was to be his friend. He had a natural kindness and warmth, that invited friendship that was a joy to accept. There is an old saying something like: laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone. The world laughed with Jack. He was predominantly, if not exclusively, a man of good humour. I always felt better, happier, myself after talking with Jack. I will miss his sunshine, his wisdom, and his willingness to share both so willingly and freely. We send our condolences to Tom, his family, his siblings, Jack's wife Marian, and his dear friend and support rock at Wood Gundy, Lorica Finley. He will be missed. - Posted by: Sheldon and Penny Bowles (Clients and friends ) on: Sep 10, 2016

Jack was always so calm and in control, so I guess that was the way he was meant to go into Heaven too. But that did leave the rest of us in shock, in disbelief and in utter mourning. We truly appreciate Jack's service at Elim Chapel through the years, with many hours served on the Board of Elders. In the past year, he was the one who doggedly found a wonderful grand piano in Calgary for Elim, along with help from son Tom. Like with this project, he often worked quietly behind the scenes to raise money or to make things happen. Jack was a loyal friend to many and he was totally devoted to his wife Marian and family. His faith was strong, living it out in all areas of his life. We are so thankful for his friendship. We will always remember him with joy and admiration. - Posted by: Dave and Deanna Waters (Friends from Elim Chapel) on: Sep 08, 2016
