Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT BRENT MCADAM October 10, 1962 - September 6, 2016 With great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Rob McAdam. After many years of battling his addiction with alcohol, he is finally at peace. Right from a young age Rob had a strong work ethic beginning as a paper boy with the Winnipeg Tribune. This work ethic was evident and continued throughout his career at Westfair Foods, Hudson's Bay and Pratt's. He excelled at many sports but his true loves were bowling, baseball and golf. He was predeceased by his grandparents Henry and Lillian Kuhn and his brother Doug. Left to mourn his passing are his mother Florence McAdam; siblings Brian (Susan) McAdam, Sheila (Pat) Ridge, Ward (Cheryl) McAdam, Brenda Managh, Colleen (Brian) Hogue; sister-in-law Brenda McAdam as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff in the CCU unit at the Health Sciences Centre. As per Rob's request, there will not be a service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rob's memory to Siloam Mission or Salvation Army.

Dear Sheila and family, My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Losing your 'brother' is the one of the hardest kinds of pain. But knowing they finally have peace is of some comfort. I empathize with your loss. I too, lost my brother. May you find some peace in your happy memories. I remember you had a wonderful big family. I know you can find some comfort in their love. I had the pleasure of working with Rob during his time at The Bay Polo Park. He was a very nice person and very well liked among his coworkers. He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others out. - Posted by: Erin (Former Coworker) on: Sep 10, 2016
