Dear Krystyna, Barbara, Richard and families, We were so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Losing our parents leaves an empty space that never quite fills up again. That your dad lived to 101 is such an amazing milestone and his early life and service in the war was remarkable. My mother liked to try to keep in touch with your dad when her health permitted. She often spoke fondly of the good friendship that she and my dad had with both of your parents. She always commented on how they were genuine caring people. I remember fun times with your parents and your family when we were small children. May the happy memories you have of your dad keep him close to your heart always. In deepest sympathy, Samantha and Gary Belecki and Grace and Michael Thorney - Posted by: Samantha Belecki (Family friends) on: Sep 20, 2016

I had the pleasure of meeting Chester at River Park Gardens. When visiting my mother, Maria-Grazia, I would often visit with him as well. I enjoyed listening to his stories and looking at old photos. We also enjoyed playing checkers together and when I would intentionally miss a play, he would tell me I should make it. Even so, he beat me fair and square each and every time. I only knew him for about a few years, but I will never forget him. Rest in peace Chester, I will miss you. Say hello to my mom when you see her in heaven. - Posted by: Carol Manfredi () on: Sep 16, 2016

Basia, Zbyszek, Antos and Kasia, I'm very sorry for your loss. Chester's stories of his experiences will always be a fond memory for me. His sense of humour will never be replaced. I feel honored to have known him and Olga for many many years. May Chester Rest in Peace, - Posted by: Dave Gair (Friend) on: Sep 13, 2016
