MARION HANNON At St. Boniface Hospital on September 15, 2016, after a hard struggle with cancer, Marion, beloved wife of David, passed away. Besides her husband, Marion is survived by her son, Cory Phillips of Thompson, Manitoba, of whom she was very proud. Marion was predeceased by her father Joseph, mother Katherine and her sister Jean. Marion was born and raised in the Gimli area and grew up on a small farm with her mother, father, sister and her horse, Mandy. Marion was a warm and wonderful person and made friends easily. She had an incredible love of animals of all shapes and sizes and they loved her too. At Marion's request, there will no formal service. A private interment of her ashes will take place at a later date. Thank you to our friends and neighbours, especially Pam and Garth, who stood by us in our hour of need. Without your kind words, hugs, and other good deeds, I never would have made it. Thank you to the people at St. Boniface Hospital who cared for Marion. Thank you also to Dr. Eva Smil, her long term physician and friend. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so wish, a charitable donation to a pet charity of your choice would be appreciated. May you rest in peace my love. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Sorry Dave to hear of your loss. Having been in BC since 1981, I have lost touch with a lot of my former ATC Co-workers but sincerely hope that you can go on with the support of close friends and relatives. I will make a contribution on her behalf to the Therapy Dog program in the lower mainland. - Posted by: Pat Ulicki (former ATC coworker) on: Oct 06, 2016

We first met Marion approx. 20 years ago walking our dog every day around the neighbourhood. We would always see Marion walking with her bottle of water and her dainty little steps. She always stopped to pet our dog Sami, commenting on how beautiful he was and we always had a friendly conversation at the same time. Marion loved animals and showed it in her generosity to the animal shelters. She was a wonderful person inside and out and we will miss her friendly spirit. Rest in Peace, Marion.💓💓 - Posted by: Sharon and John Ikonen (Southdale Neighbours) on: Sep 17, 2016
