Rob was predeceased by his father George, and is survived by his mother Marlyn, sister Darcie, and brother Douglas. Rob was a true lover of the outdoors. Whether it be fishing, hiking, canoeing or just sitting outside watching the sunset Rob was most happy out in the elements with Mother Nature. I have known Rob since High School. He was always a free spirit and a solid friend. When his brother Doug married my cousin Joan I felt connected to him as family. You always knew that when Rob was with you nobody was going to give you any trouble! He was the first guy to jump in to help his friends. We always thought of him as the 'viking'.
