Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANETTE VERA COLLINS September 21, 1933 - September 20, 2016 Sadly, after a brief battle with cancer, the family announces the passing of Janet Collins, at the age of 82, just shy of her 83rd birthday. Janet was predeceased by husband, Leonard Collins and parents. She is survived by daughters, Gail (Cliff), Carol (Ray); four granddaughters, Lisa (Tom), Kelly (Dave), Kimberly, Jennifer (Matt); great-grandson Logan and brother Robert (Roberta). Her grandchildren and great-grandson were the light of her life and the many family traditions will be carried on in her memory. Many thanks to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Grace General Hospital who took such good care of Mom. It was greatly appreciated. A memorial "Come and Go" tea will be held Friday, September 23, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society, MB. (Non- Hodgkin Lymphoma) www.cancer.ca

Very sorry of the loss of your Mother , Grandmother, and Great grandma. I have a lot of fond memories of her over the years. She always had a ready smile. I wonder if her and my dad will be taking care of the gardens in heaven, something they both loved doing. My thought and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
