Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJACQUES (JACK) GAGNE November 14, 1933 - September 5, 2016 After a brief illness, Jack passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 82, with his family by his side. Jack is predeceased by his parents Paul and Julliette, his stepmother Pearl and his mother-in-law Mary. He is survived by his wife Sandra; son Chris (Jin); brothers, Ron (Joan) and Bill; sisters, Sue (Glen), Diane (Phil) and Jeanine; brother-in-law Peter (Diane); many nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends. Jack was a loving husband, who always put his family first. During 55 years of marriage with Saush, they enjoyed summers at their cottage in Ponemah, many family trips to Fargo, BC, Hawaii, California, Florida and two wonderful cruises. Jack was a big sports fan. He was a season ticket holder for both the Jets and Blue Bombers for many years. He loved to play and watch curling as well, and was an avid bowler. Jack was a milkman for over 50 years, delivering all across Winnipeg to numerous schools, homes and businesses. Jack will be remembered always with great affection and missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Sunday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in Jack's name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. When I was around 11 or 12, Jack would come home from work; before we ate he would always ask me for a back scratch. I gladly gave him one as I always got paid a quarter.
