EVA KISSICK We are saddened to announce the passing of our dear mother, Eva Kissick on September 24, 2016. She will be deeply missed by sons Brian and Lorne, and grandchildren Angela, Darryl, Melanie and Avery. Eva was predeceased by her husband Paul, and son Robert. Our mother had a beautiful voice and sang at hundreds of weddings. She was also a featured soloist with the St. Nicholas choir for many years. Eva was a true artist in every sense of the word and she inspired us all. She worked constantly, through difficult circumstances, to provide us with a comfortable home life, and she did it all with a smile. She was truly an exceptional person. Eva also managed to find time to serve as a secretary and translator for the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League and other worthy causes. Our mother retired from her job at Eaton's in 1982 and enjoyed her time at home ever since. Our family wishes to thank Brian for the wonderful care and companionship he gave to our mother, enabling her to enjoy her own home until the end. We also thank Dr. Patel, Dr. Mueller and the Seven Oaks Hospital staff for their efforts on our mother's behalf. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated for Eva on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church (Arlington and Bannerman). Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
