JEAN ELIZABETH DALEY (BERRYERE) August 3, 1937 - September 30, 2016 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Jean. Loving wife of Fred and mother to Suzan Boughton (Lance) and Will Daley (Ann Marie). Grandmother to Harley (Megan), Ian (Elaina), Halia and Hunter. Great-grandmother to Quinn and Rowan, Justice and Anica. Jean was born in Neudorf, SK August 3, 1937 to George and Christina Berryere. She was the fourth of six children. The family then moved to Melville, SK. Jean headed off to Winnipeg to begin work and while attending a get together in Portage la Prairie (summer of 1955), met her lifelong sweetheart Fred Daley, who was stationed there with the Royal Canadian Air Force. They were soon married and after a lifetime of adventure together that included many, many moves, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary November 26, 2015. Jean had many hobbies and interests, including a love of reading, gardening, family genealogy and painting. Jean researched and kept many detailed family history records. She also loved to paint and had a number of art exhibits in Gimli, MB. Special thanks to the caring doctors, nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Cardiac Sciences Program. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 10, 2016 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street.
