IRENE NOLIN (nee THURSTON) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, at the age of 86, at Actionmarguerite St. Boniface. Mom was predeceased by her husband Anthony; sons Eddy, Arthur and Philip; granddaughter Michelle; parents Archibald Thurston and Claris Garand; stepfather Rene Garand, and her brothers Donald and Walter Thurston. Left to mourn her passing are her children Walter, Florence (Albert), Fred, daughter-in-law Paulette, Archie (Lana), Ray (Annette), Don (Marianne), Jeannette (Jamie), Helen (Peter), Ernie (Darlene), Rene, Shirley (Eugene), Gisele and Glen (Pat). She is also survived by her brothers Ronald and Howard Thurston, and 35 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Dr. Permack and the staff on 3 ABC for their care and support. We would also like to thank Dr. Mehta for his care and compassion at this difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home. Close in our hearts you will always stay. Loved and remembered every day.
