KENNETH FRANK NEUMANN It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Frank Neumann, on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at his home, at the age of 75 years. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his partner Linda McMillan; his two sons, Alan and wife Jacqueline, and Darcy and wife Kirsty; as well as his much loved grandsons, Davy, Ethan and Mac; sister Marge Healey and husband Norm; sisters-in-law, Denyse Asselin and husband Armand, and Pat Neumann; brother-in-law Fern Rémillard; and many nieces and nephews. Ken will also be missed by Linda's mother Nora Froelich, and her sons, Terry and wife Tricia, Jamey and wife Jen, and their children: Isis and Jacob. Ken was predeceased by his wife Louise (nee Garand); his parents, Frank and Elizabeth; brother George; sisters, Gladys and Pat; mother-in-law Lucille (Meme); sister-in-law Elsie; brothers-in-law Denis Fillion and Moe Brabant; and niece Dorothy Trudel. Ken was born in Altona and spent time in Saint-Jean-Baptiste before moving to Winnipeg, where he raised his family. He would later start Able Crane Services Ltd. with his business partners and continue working there for 40 years. Ken was thrilled to get his pilot's licence and to learn to downhill ski. He also curled and golfed whenever possible. Ken created lasting memories while travelling throughout North America in his motorhome and during the annual fishing trips with his sons and grandsons. His happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church, 1315 Gateway Road, with a gathering of family and friends to follow in the reception centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
