MARY GOERZ 1919 - 2016 Peacefully, at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, Mary Goerz passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1996, as well as her parents, two sisters, and three brothers. Left to mourn her death are her sister Huldi, and her sister-in-law Ursula, both in Brazil, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. We will remember Mary for her indomitable spirit, her unique and enduring expressions of caring for others, as well as her steadfast Christian faith. Our family wishes to extend our gratitude to Doctors Martens, Doermer, and Martin, as well as the many staff, both at Donwood Extended Persons Housing, and Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, who have attended to our Aunt Mary over the years. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Donwood Foundation.

We I have many beautiful memories of Mary and Paul. We visited her at Donwood on our last trip to Winnipeg some 2 years ago. We had a wonderful time together.
