I first met Ray when I hired on in Montreal. While we had no working relationship he helped indoctrinate me into the head office comings and goings. Shortly after he relocated back to Winnipeg and a year later my wife and I came to Weston Shops. Ray was my trainer and mentor and provided me so many opportunities and positions at Weston. Even after his retirement from CP while at Mandak we remained close friends. After retiring from Mandak we became closer friends meeting regularly. We had breakfast only several weeks ago. I will miss Ray, our regular meetings reliving past incidents and co-worker stories. My sincerest condolences to Betty his loving wife of 57 years. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Doug Simpson (Friend) on: Oct 29, 2016
