HENRI MARCEL JOSEPH LEDOYEN April 21, 1927 - October 29, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather at the age of 89, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home. Left to mourn and cherish his memory are Henri's beloved children, Norman (Jadie), Raymond (Susan), Anne-Marie (David), and Catherine (James); his cherished grandchildren Jacqueline (Syd), Raymond (Michele), David (Linda), Angelique (Derek), Shaun, Pascale, Dominique (Ryan), Brett (Breanne) and Andrew; his seven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous cousins; friends and his Belgium Club family. Henri was predeceased by his adored wife Germaine in 2002. Henri entered service with the St. Boniface Fire Service in 1949, and retired in 1988 as District Chief after 38 years of distinguished service. Henri was so proud to be a firefighter. A funeral service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place.   • Our thoughts go out to the family of Henri. He was a genuine, sincere man who always had a smile. We will miss seeing him walking down Brian Street.
