• Wes and my son attended Laidlaw school together where they met in grade 3. Having much in common, they developed a deep bond, while sharing their creativity and passion for film. For many years, the boys spent time playing hockey together as well. It was always a pleasure to have Wes visit our home. At one dark point in his life, I took Wes into my home. I enjoyed caring for him, making him lunches and driving him to school. He was always polite, fun, kind and gentle. I truly loved Wes and treated him like my own. My heart is broken and filled with sadness at the news of the loss of this young life and of his tragic end. • I have known Wesley since I was 5 years old. He was always an amazing friend, making sure everyone around him was happy and smiling. I can't even count the amount of amazing memories I shared with Wes. I will never forget them. And the spot in my heart he has always held and no one could ever replace. I could write a novel here but I just want to express my deepest condolences to his family and the family he made for himself. His friends all miss him dearly.
