Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN (KEN) PADDISON June 30, 1956 - November 4, 2016 Ken passed away peacefully on November 4, 2016 at Riverview after a long battle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory is sons Kyle and Jonathan (Jen); daughter Alisabeth; mother Emily and brother Don (Roma). The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Riverview. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. at Henderson Hwy. www.voyagefuneralhome.com

John was such a very caring loving soul. I enjoyed working with him at the warehouse in Morris whenever he would offer to come give a hand if he was not busy on the road. I feel blessed to have met John. We will miss his huge smile and big heart. VLD has lost a very good worker and friend. It comes with sad realization that I have to admit; John will not be coming back to work at VLD. I got to work with John for the last 16 years, and I will miss him greatly. He was a legend to myself and others, John had the ability to resolve the most complicated issue, calm down the most hostile customer, and please the most demanding site holder... We overcame many project and challenges together over the course of the years - John was one of the main reasons that projects were completed successfully (his dedication during the 2004 and 2012 VLT Replacement Projects will never be forgotten). My fondest memories of John, is John telling me the story of an eventful drive back to Winnipeg from Winnipeg Beach involving a horse! (I don't think I have ever laughed so hard!)
