GUENTHER September 22, 1926 - November 7, 2016 Peacefully, surrounded by his family, John Guenther passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016. John is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary; daughters, Judith, Alvina, Laura, Janice (Kevin), Melinda (Andris); son Greg (Shannon). John is also lovingly remembered as Grandpa and Opa to nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Special thanks to staff at Bethania for the loving care given to John and his family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch Street, with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bethania Personal Care Home, or a charity of choice.
