• Maya was the light of every room she was in, she was caring, strong minded, and overall one of the greatest people to be around. I knew her since high school but it was really great to be able to share various number of university classes with her. She made every group project or gruelling assignment a little more entertaining with her witty comments. I was lucky enough to get to call her my friend and my heart mourns.
