HERMAN NEUFELD October 20, 1924 - November 10, 2016 Peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2016 Herman Neufeld went to meet his Savior. Herman was the oldest of seven children born to David and Elizabeth Neufeld. Herman married Victoria Eleana Voth on June 21, 1947. He and Vicki were baptized in 1958 on the confession of their faith in Jesus' atoning death and resurrection in Bethel Mennonite Church and were regular church goers and supporters of their church. Together they raised their children, sons, Bob (Julie), Doug, and daughter Kathy (Graeme). Herman was predeceased by his wife Vicki in 2010, and daughter-in-law Julie in 2003. He leaves to mourn his passing three children; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren as well as siblings and extended family. After Vicki's passing, Herman spent most mornings in the company of the residents at Lindenwoods Estates and had many enjoyable discussions with them. He celebrated his 92nd birthday in the Palliative Care Unit in St. Boniface Hospital with his family. He lived out his faith in his everyday life. The family thanks Dr. Sharkey and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Ward for their incredibly kind and gentle care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street.
