She had a magnetic personality that would draw you in to a place where you'd feel like one of her family. She made friends easily and once in, you couldn't forget her. She was a devoted and loving wife, a protective and passionate mother and a true friend to so many. Every occasion throughout the year was a family gathering. Arlene was never one to pass up a dare, she just loved to have fun. She enjoyed camping, fishing, bingo, and dancing to polkas. Tiny Tim was her favourite singer, mom caught his tie at one of his shows which he had signed. Arlene was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Ann; parents, Christine and Carl Krieger; and brother George Krieger. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband and best friend of 60 years, Glenn. Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Laurie (Jim) and Glenda (Bjorn); sons, Darrin (Cheryl), Shannon (Lucy), Albert and Hugh; grandchildren, Jody, Glenn, Chris, John, James, Ember, Aiden, Tony, Patrick, Bianca, Alan and Anny; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Dyllan, Dariyn, Dredyn, Dayton, Saydee, Autumn, Trista and Kolton; beloved dog Snowflake; brothers, Jack (Yvonne) and family of Calgary, AB, and Grant Krieger and family of Calgary, AB; and the Kurtz family of Winnipeg.
