EDITH MARION KIDNER (nee SWITZER) August 20, 1929 - December 15, 2016 Edith (Edie) passed peacefully on December 15, 2016 at the age of 87. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 68 years Art; daughter Janice (Garry) Schellenberg; grandsons, Kevin, Kyle (Michele); great-grandchildren, Javan, Yana, Atira; sister Lorraine White and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Sidney and Katie Switzer; brother Arthur Switzer; sisters, Irene Switzer and Kathleen Shesterniak. Edith worked for Revenue Canada until her retirement and then lived in Pinawa, MB for 20 years. There she served as councillor for two terms, achieving her goal of transforming the cemetery to its present state. She loved to feed the deer, foxes and birds. Edith was a talented quilter, lovingly creating baby quilts for family and friends. At Edith's request there will be no service, instead we can cherish her with fond memories and love.
