RONALD (RON) EDGAR November 23, 1939 - December 24, 2016 After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron on Saturday, December 24, 2016. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Florence, of 46 years; his sister Mae Sauve; nephews Kerry and Michael; brother-in-law Marvin Perpeluk; and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Louella Edgar, and his brother-in-law Barry Sauve. Ron was raised and educated in St. Boniface. He was employed in the automobile industry for over 40 years. He had a great love for music, having played piano for prominent artists and groups. He also loved travelling and fishing. He had a good sense of humour and was well-liked. In keeping with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. A graveside service will take place in Dauphin in the spring. Special thanks to Victoria Hospital, Riverview Health Centre, and to Dr. Marvin Slutchuk for his care.
