SHIRLEY CAMPITELLI February 12, 1965 - December 25, 2016 Shirley reached out and took God's hand after a long battle with a kidney transplant and then cancer. She leaves to mourn her husband, Peter; her parents, Jake and Elizabeth Rempel; her in-laws, Pietro and Giovina Campitelli; her sisters, Melanie Rempel, Angela Finnie (Ken); brother Greg Rempel (Tammy); brother-in-law Julius (Martina) and brother-in-law Trevor; nieces and nephews, Camille Finnie, Mackenzie Finnie, Jadyn Rempel, Megan Rempel and Justin Campitelli. Philippians 4:11 Apostle Paul, who had more than his share of difficulty in life, said, "I have learned to be content regardless of my circumstances." Shirley, Christmas will be a richer time of year with our memories of you! Viewing takes place at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St. on Monday, January 2, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Prayers at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at McIvor Avenue Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Ave. on Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St, West St. Paul. Memories and Fellowship to be enjoyed with lunch and refreshments afterwards at McIvor Church. Please direct donations to: Transplant Manitoba Trust Fund or CancerCare Manitoba.

My deepest condolences to you Peter and all of your family. I did not know your wife however I knew you well as a little boy. One of my favourite little boys that I babysat for. I wish you all the best in the future. It will be tough, however life has its way of getting us through the pain and sorrow of loss and moving on and hopefully one day, meeting them at the garden of heaven to be together again.
