It came as quite a shock in hearing of his passing. Paul and I have shared many wonderful memories with Richard over the years. I always looked forward to his visits knowing I would like the biggest bear hug from him when he came, and when he left. He was such and kind and gentle soul and always there to help anyone. He has touched so many people over the years and will be greatly missed by all. R.I.P. Chee Chee my Big Teddy Bear. Our condolences to his family. I am in complete shock. Richard and I met while working at MB Hydro in Kelsey. We remained friends even tho I was not with hydro anymore. He was always someone I loved to run into. Last time was October of 2015. He was holding the door open in Selkirk when we went to watch a hockey game. Huge hug when he saw me as always. Always asked about my family. Sending sincerest condolences to Richard's family. He was one of a kind. I will miss him dearly. - Posted by: Janine Spence (Friend) on: Jan 04, 2017
