MARY (MARIANTONETTA) ALBO (nee CURZIO) Peacefully on January 7, 2017 our Mom took her final steps into the arms of her loving God. Mary was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Paul, her parents and all her siblings. Mary leaves us behind to grieve and miss this loveable and incredibly kind lady. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Nick Albo, daughter-in-law Pat Titarniuk, and grandson Nico (Leana), daughter Rosanna Giardino, son-in-law Carlo, grandsons Kyle (Rachel), Steven (Sarah), Shane (Laura), great-grandsons Luca and Pax, brother-in-law Joe Albo (Valerie) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a strong and independent woman who lived on her own in her Corydon Avenue apartment with her much loved and loyal cat Jim. We will all desperately miss Mom, her stubbornness, her compassion and her generosity. Mary was 99 years and 8 months old at the time of her passing. She was so looking forward to her 100th birthday. We are so sad that she didn't make it. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mary's memory to the Humane Society or charity of your choice. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 17 at St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford Street at 11:00 a.m. with Father Frank Obrigewitsch officiating. Pall bearers will be John Conci, Adam Conci, John Albi and Joe Albo. Interment will take place at St. Boniface Cemetery after a reception in the Church Hall.
