MARGARET HAREL March 8, 1935 - January 13, 2017 Margaret (Fehr) Harel, after a courageous battle with cancer peacefully passed away with her daughter by her side Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Vita Personal Care Home, Vita, MB. Mom was born March 8, 1935 and lived her early childhood years in Grunthal, Manitoba, later moving to Winnipeg, and the last 21 years in Mitchell, Manitoba. She leaves behind her loving children and their spouses: Della, Kelly (Nicole), Randy (Robin), grandchildren: Ravyn, Erin, Austin, Danielle, Justin and great-grandchildren: Kya, Halle, and Archer and numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws and extended brother George (Anne). Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Horace in 2006, her grandson Jerrett in 2008 as well as her parents, siblings and in-laws. Mom was well known for her big heart and gave selflessly always trying to help when she could. While Dad was on dialysis, Mom volunteered her time at the St. Boniface Hospital in which she loved and was truly respected. Many thanks to all her relatives and all the staff of the Vita PCH for all their outstanding compassionate loving care, support and efforts through these trying times. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach. Flowers are gratefully declined.   • My Aunt Margaret, rare person. She has been there for her ENTIRE FAMILY My mother being one of them. Will always remember this as she really cared and extended herself to help us with our mother. I have good memories of her spending some good times with her and having healthy laughs. She is not suffering any more but is at rest for now. Loved her much!
