MARGIE TOKARZ January 16, 1923 - January 10, 2017 Peacefully, on January 10, 2017, Margie Tokarz passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital at the age of 93, just six days short of her 94th birthday. She is survived by her children, Daniel Tokarz, Patricia Palanycia, Betty Mikoluff and Jim (Julie) Tokarz; grandchildren, David, Joanne, Richard, Debbie, Phillip, Allan, Heather and Charlene; and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; parents Nicholas and Katherine Krawetz; sisters, Katherine, Elsie, Lena, Pearl and Gladys; brother Bill; sons-in-law Walter Mikoluff and Walter Palanycia; and great-grandchild Evan. Margie was a lifelong resident in West Kildonan and was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted, loving and caring person who enjoyed gardening, sewing, music and cooking for family gatherings and celebrations. Special thanks to Seven Oaks General Hospital for their kindness and care, and to Fred Douglas Lodge Nursing Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, l442 Main Street, with reception to follow. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Cemetery.
