Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Mom. You've woven your way into the quiet moments that knit the fabric of my days together. It hurts, but I'd rather remember than not. Dad and I had lunch this week, and he said a lot that really resonated. He talked about all the things you lived to see. Your children with strong, supportive partners. Your grandson. Other things as well. And it gave me pause to think on it; this humble man with his eloquent words. He misses you. We all do. - Posted by: Murray Kehler (Son) on: Apr 15, 2017

  • My deepest condolences to Reg and family. I still can't believe it. Sylvia had such a spark for life. We spent our teen years in the Bethel youth group and many years later we reconnected. She was still so full of life and it was so good to catch up. She was taken too soon. - Posted by: Gail Ginter (Friend) on: Jan 23, 2017

  • It's never easy experiencing the lost of a loved one, but life is not about easy. Grief is like a speedometer: it indicates how deep the love is. I will miss her so much, I always enjoyed her sense of humor and we also shared many of the same opinions of life. Condolences to all. - Posted by: Wilma Fuchs (Cousin ) on: Jan 21, 2017

  • It was a shock to me that Sylvia has passed away. She was a cherished colleague while I taught at Isaac Brock and I looked forward to seeing her at our get together once a year where we caught up with each other's lives. Sylvia had a great sense of humour and also told it the way it was. At our last gathering we cried together over the loss of our mothers and how hard it was to let them go. I am glad that we had a last hug and glass of wine together. My sympathy to her family. Her loss will be dearly felt by all. Good-bye my friend. - Posted by: Therese Duval (Colleague) on: Jan 21, 2017
