Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERHARD (GEORGE) REMPEL January 28, 1924 - January 26, 2017 Gerhard (George) Rempel, of Winnipeg, MB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the age of 92, at Pembina Place Personal Care Home in Winnipeg. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Nettie (née Penner); his children, Dave (Sharon), Debbie (Walter) Peters, Tim (Cheryl); and his eight grandchildren, David, Coleman, Alix, Kimberley, Kaitlyn, Austin, Sawyer and Mikaela, along with extended family. The viewing will take place on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford St, Winnipeg, MB. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, Winnipeg, MB, with a private burial prior to the service at Glen Lawn Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.
