STEFANIA SZWED 1928 - 2017 Passed peacefully at Holy Family Home. Stefania was born in 1928 in Poland and came to Canada June 24, 1964 with her husband Waclaw and son Miroslaw. Left to mourn, grandson Sebastian Szwed and wife Tanya (along with her precious great-grandsons Brodie and Zachary), daughter-in-law Grazyna Andrzejewska, sister Paulina Skoczypiec and family, brother Roman Paszkowski and family, nephew Richard Paszkowski, nephew Andrzej Pawlowicz and wife Teresa (and family), and niece Janina Skoczypiec and family. Stefania was predeceased by her husband Waclaw Szwed, son Miroslaw Szwed, son Stefan Paszkowski, nephew Walter Skoczypiec, as well as her brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating.
