BERNICE CAROLE WOYTUSZKO (nee ZANKO) At the age of 84, and with family by her side, Bernice was peacefully taken by angels to be reunited with her husband Albert. Bernice was born and raised in Winnipeg, where she met Albert in 1951. They married and moved to Brandon, MB in 1952. Bernice's life was full. She was a hard worker, devoted wife, loving mother and true friend. She was employed in Brandon at Leech Printing, Red Oak Inn and Scotiabank. After retiring, Bernice returned to Winnipeg in 1996 to be closer to her family. She will be sadly missed by daughters Sharon (Michael) Stuehlmeyer and Brenda (Gary) Upshaw; six grandchildren Michelle, Shara (Gregor), Andrea (Josh), Marina (Simon), Christopher and Stefan (Ulli); nine great-grandchildren Alicia, Austin, Eric, Lieven, Maddex, Famke, Leni, Hannes and Marten; her very special friend Roberta; along with many others whose hearts she touched. A very special thank you to the considerate and caring nursing staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital. A private family service will be held at a later date. Condolences and comments may be forwarded to Sharon and Brenda at brendau@shaw.ca "If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for us. Then place them in our mother's arms, and tell her they're from us. Tell her that we love and miss her and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. All our Love: Sharon and Brenda" www.voyagefuneralhome.com

I am sorry to hear of your loss. My heartfelt condolences. I do not remember a lot when I was a child; but I do remember her as nothing but kind to me as a child. - Posted by: Lisa Woytuszko (Niece) on: Feb 17, 2017
