JACK HARDER September 14, 1938 - February 8, 2017 Jack Harder, 78, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Bethesda Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Helen, children: Terry, Kim (Tim), Greg (Sheryl), Nancy (Paul), Bruce, grandchildren: Terra, Ashley, Sean, Ryan, Kelsey, Amy and Shanley, and great-grandchildren: Seth, Liam, Harper and Chase. He is also survived by his brothers: Fred, Peter (Helen), and Ernie (Elma), his brothers-in-law John Neufeld and Glen Fisher, numerous nieces and nephews and his in-laws, the Sobering family. He is predeceased by his parents, his sisters Joanne, Dale and Esther and his brothers Norman and Romeo. Dad worked for Penner Farm Services for many years before he decided to start his own business. He was the owner/operator of J & H Plastering for 30 years. Dad was a hard-working man and took pride in the work he did. He instilled in us the importance of doing your best and being kind to others. Dad had a great sense of humour. Family was the most important thing to dad. The funeral service for Jack Harder will be held Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Hwy. 52 W, Steinbach, with ash interment at a later date.
