DON PHILIP FOSSBERG March 24, 1969 - February 21, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don Philip Fossberg, at the age of 47, at Health Sciences Centre on February 21, 2017. Don is lovingly remembered by his mother Phyllis, his brother Paul, and niece Emily. Don leaves behind to mourn extended family in Canada and Norway, along with many special life-long friends. Don was predeceased by his father, Erik in 2005. Don was born and raised in Winnipeg. He touched the lives of people across the country and the world through his work and travels. He was a kind, caring, respectful, loving person to everyone he encountered - offering a hug, a shoulder to lean on and a willing, listening ear at every opportunity. We wish to express our gratitude to Dr. Jacob, as well as the nurses and staff at Health Science's MICU and GA4 units for the exceptional, professional care extended to Don, and the compassion and support they offered to family and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. If friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba. Cropo Funeral Chapel, 204-586-8044
