JUSTINA (JESSIE) QUIRING LOWEN August 15, 1931 - March 10, 2017 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and Oma, who passed away on March 10, 2017. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Nick, of almost 65 years; daughters, Betty (Richard), Irmgard (Jake); sons, Albert (Lorraine), Harry (Michelle); grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris, Jerry, Jackie, Jolene, Carey, Stacey, Dale, Kyle and Ashley, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. Jessie was born August 15, 1931 in Schönau, Ukraine. She experienced much hardship growing up during the war, but life improved greatly once they arrived in Canada in 1948. The family would like to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their loving care. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharon Bay, with viewing prior to the service. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mennonite Central Committee, available at the service. A Mother is special, So is her name. Without her to love Life won't be the same. As long as we live We will always be glad To treasure the memories Of the Mother we had. We love you Mom. - Your children

  • I will remember Jessie as a wonderful mother and wonderful grandmother to my daughters . She had such a kind heart. Loved her family very much.
