Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER REMPEL May 28, 1923 - March 12, 2017 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Rempel, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, at Bethania Personal Care Home on March 12, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Dietrich and Maria (Pauls) Rempel, his grandson Timothy Penner, and his son-in-law, Martin Penner. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of over 68 years, Maria, daughters Maria and Elfriede, and son Victor (Betty). Peter will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Cheryl (Richard), Stefan, Daniel (Carlee), Stefanie (Robert), and great- grandchildren Aiden, Roran, and Giuliana. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home for their compassionate care for Peter over the past nine months. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., with viewing prior to the service. Interment in Sargent Avenue Church Cemetery in Springstein, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethania Mennonite Memorial Foundation.
