Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARD JOHN TIGHE October 27, 1927- March 16, 2017 Peacefully, at Concordia Place, Bernard passed away at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Susan; two children, Greg and Garry, and their families. Bernard was predeceased by his daughter Brenda in 2015. Bernard was born in Ft. Francis, Ontario but lived most of his life in Winnipeg. He worked at Safeway's Fairfax Bakery and finally at Natural Bakery. He enjoyed many years of bowling, curling, and dancing until health would not permit him to continue. Many thanks to Dr. Jerry Bergen, Dr. Martin and the wonderful staff at Concordia Place who made it a second home for Ben. As per his wishes no service will be held. Cremation has taken place. My condolences to you, Aunt Susan. I was sorry to hear of Uncle Bernard's passing. I always looked forward to his mall visits when I was working there and at times being able to join him for lunch of his New York Fries. He will be surely missed.
